Crestone Wealth Management is a business created from UBS Wealth Management, and Valmont was tasked with providing an identity that reflects the premium nature of their business.
With a big challenge ahead to create a workplace that suited their clientele and business model, the brief required a warm, inviting yet sophisticated front of house area that could work for day-to-day client servicing, as well as formal dining, cocktail functions and board meetings.
The back of house was to reaffirm the flat hierarchy of the new business and provide space for the business units to meet informally and brainstorm away from their desks.
Working for a ‘startup’ brand, the Valmont Design Team had to be clever with the use of budget to ensure that a premium look was achieved without over capitalising.
Although the Sydney and Melbourne spaces have similar looks to the reception and entry area, these similarities stop when the breakout and back of house are concerned. This was in response to the different flavours of Sydney and Melbourne culture, and the design was conceptualised in each city to ensure it appealed to staff and clients alike.
Crestone Wealth Management provides wealth advice and portfolio management services to high net worth clients and family offices, not for profit organisations and financial institutions. It has 170 employees, including over 70 investment advisers who have worked together for an average of 10 years and has offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
